Founded in 1946 by Eric Gransden, the company has now been re-established by the third generation of the family at Wises Oast in Borden.

We offer a full dry ice blasting service as a stripping and cleaning process for your oak or pine beams and other in-situ cleaning requirements. The process is a quicker, cleaner alternative to sandblasting and will leave your oak beams, brick or flint walls, metal and many other surfaces stripped of unwanted paint or other coverings, clean and without the mess and damage usually associated with sandblasting. The Early Years 1946 – 2005
Eric Gransden founded the family firm in 1946 upon his return from duty in deserts of Egypt during WW2 with the RAF salvage team restoring stricken fighter planes to active duty.
The photograph below shows Eric with a scale model of Sun Pier, Chatham before developing the site in the 1980s.
The family business was re-established by the third generation of the family, at Wises Oast in Borden, near Sittingbourne in 2005.
